New Boiler Installs Made Easy.

Having relocated to the area in Dec 2024 Russell Gas Services was recommended to us by a neighbour. And what a team of super stars they are. It all started with a short term fix and the team worked until late on Christmas eve to get us up and running - they really went the extra mile. And then the planned long term project which involved taking 'everything' out and starting again. That's all pipework, heating system, bathroom, kitchen… 'everything'. Craig was so helpful in advising, ordering, installing and working with us and other trades to achieve the refurb project. Craig was very patient with me in advising how the system was to work in a non technical way as I was keen to learn. Being a non conventional property we were expecting some settling down issues and Craig was always quick to answer my calls and advise accordingly and even revisit where required. Craig and his team have done various plumbing jobs for us over the past 10 years, from installing new radiators, full bathroom refurbishments, installing new boiler… to more minor jobs like replacing taps and dealing with emergencies like leaks. Nothing is too much trouble and no job too small. Every time, Craig has ensured the job is done to a high standard. He replies promptly, gives a realistic expectation of when he can do the job and sticks to it, turns up at expected time, or lets us know if he’s going to be delayed. In more urgent situations, he’s responded quickly and has never let us down. We appreciate his polite and respectful demeanour, his honesty and integrity, a real gentleman. Moved into the area 3 years ago and was recommended to Craig by a local and thank goodness, as I would now not consider using anyone else. Craig has since serviced our boiler, removed an old gas fire and fitted all new rads throughout our 3 story home. A professional, prompt and value for money service every time. More recently (March) we returned home late from a week’s break to find the heating wasn’t working. Contacted Craig the following morning, who came straight round. Assessed the situation, went and bought a new part and all was done and fitted and working again by 10.30am! I would have no hesitation in recommending Craig and his Team to anyone!

Craig from Russell Gas Services was the only business who would take on the existing heating install and relocate it to the garage. He didn’t mind fixing someone’s else’s cock up of a job and made such a positive improvement to both the internal layout of the house and the nest install in the garage. I cannot recommend his business enough. All of the other contractors and workers he used were so polite and helpful too. For any heating or plumbing work you need I would wholly recommend asking Craig to quote for the work. Even if he wasn’t the cheapest you get and he may well be, I’d say he is among the best. You only get what you pay for.

Russell Gas Services has become my go-to plumber for any work I need carried out. After subcontracting several jobs to him, he’s consistently proven himself to be reliable, professional, and extremely easy to work with. The standard of workmanship is always excellent, communication is spot on, and I know the job will be completed properly and on time. It’s hard to find tradespeople you can trust to represent your business well, but Russell does exactly that every time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for quality plumbing work and dependable service.

Craig has been brilliant since we engaged his services a few years ago. He came and 'rescued' us after another plumber let us down during a house renovation and a very stressful situation, he was prepared to follow on from another person's job (not every person would). I needed landlord gas certificate on a new property. Craig came out, spotted a few issues and suggested how to rectify them. He came out for a second visit ( no extra charge), carried out an inspection, all good. Highly recommended, no nonsense, professional advice, honesty and integrity. We had been introduced to Craig and his team by another plumber who was not able to do the work for us. Craig arrived, reviewed the job and also rearranged other appointments to carry out the work as we had no hot water or heating. The work was carried out expeditiously and efficiently. Most of all Craig listens to you and explains what is required to be done. We would highly recommend Craig Russell.

We inherited a property and just before the sale finalised, the boiler was beyond repair, Craig provided excellent advice and a reasonable price for a new boiler. Fabulous Company. Needed a full central heating refit. Came at time agreed for estimate and every day when working. Estimate was extremely competitive. Booked work for 3 weeks time. Accommodated some additional requests. Workmanship was excellent. Absolutely recommend and will be using again for our full bathroom refit. Thanks again Craig and Team

Craig is a very efficient courteous young man who I have been using for quite some time. His work is top notch and tidy and always clears up after the job. What I also like is that if he is running late or unable to keep his appointment he always telephones to let me know, nothing worse than sitting around all day waiting for someone to turn up.
